Wwr_MTK is a tool used for splitting ROM dumps made using SP flash tool and also to generate scatter file. It is an easily be referred to as an alternative tool to MTK droid tool for newer MTK chipsets
Description:
The program works with ROM files (read from the device with the help of SP Flash Tool), based on MTK processors.
- Pulls Preloader.bin from the ROM file dump.
- You can cut a certain segment of the read portion of memory.
- Split the ROM file into parts based on the Scatter file.
- Finds the PMT, PGPT (SGPT) sections, based on the information in these sections, creates a Scatter file.
- Calculates the name of the partitions, their starts and lengths from Recovery_log.
- Works on ADB. Creates backup copies of partitions (if there are root privileges).
- Create a scatter file for devices that have root rights on the MTK platform. Back-up of firmware of any devices.
- Cuts unnecessary sectors (Spare) from the read memory dump from phones with NAND memory.
- New features will be added.
